Welcome to the virtual Memphis ARTCC!
The Memphis ARTCC covers most of Tennessee as well as parts of Arkansas and Mississippi. The facility is located in Memphis, TN. It's largest airport, Memphis International, is the busiest freight hub in the United States, and is the home of the FedEx international headquarters. It also is a major hub for Northwest Airlines.
It's second busiest airport, Nashville International is a hub for various airlines, including Southwest Airlines which has over 80 daily flights from Nashville. Memphis ARTCC also contains many other airports in it's airspace including KLIT, KJAN, KFSM, KXNA, KCBM and others.

| Matt Fuoco has been chosen to replace Wes Kirkpatrick as Deputy Air Traffic Manager. Matt's experience as real world management, CFI/II/MEI will certainly help him as he slides into his new role! Congratulate him next time you see him!
Ryan Parry has been selected as the webmaster for the Facility. His existing webpage designs have proven his capabilities and he will be responsible for maintaining the webpage and it's databases from this point forward.

| vZME Sector File Release v09.01 |

| I am pleased to announce vZME's latest sector file, v09.01, has been released for public use. Version 09.01 includes updated .sct(2), alias, pof, and .agp files for use with VRC and AGP Importer. Please read the included documentation for more information on changes and file usage. You can download the file immediately via the ZME Downloads page link under ATC Menu. |

| Dustin Robbins Appointed as new Facility Engineer! |

| Dustin Robbins has accepted the facility engineer position! As a previous facility engineer for us he brings with him a great toolset to maintaining the existing sector and position file! |

| Mark Hubbert has accepted the Events Coordinator position. His existing ties into FDX Virtual, Freight Dawgs, and American Virtual, as well as the facilities surrounding the ZME ARTCC will certainly be an asset to the facility. Join me in welcoming him to the position. |

| Please join me in welcoming Wes Kirkpatrick back to the staff of the Memphis ARTCC! Wes is the former ATM, a real world commercial pilot and veteran controller. He brings with him an extraordinary toolset that will benefit the facility as a whole. Thanks to everyone who applied, the choice was not an easy one! |
